Yesterday, I presented at the Blaine House Conference on Volunteerism. (For those of you outside of Maine, the Blaine House is the Governor’s house.) The conference provides professional development and networking opportunities for Maine’s leaders in the state’s volunteer sector.

Below is my outline for my presentation, Your Brand Online: Personal, Organizational & Cause. The session gave an overview of what branding is and how to build brand equity, talked about the major social media channels, and then talked about pulling the two together to promote a brand for your non-profit that is compelling, authentic, personalized, but still consistent with your brand message.

If you have questions that were not answered at the conference, please leave them in the comments and I’ll be happy to answer them.

I was so keen to learn about social media & branding together, because lately I had an argument with one of my friend on this subject. Your blog post concluded a lot of my doubts. Thanks for writing this, it helped a lot.
