Logo Design for the Muddy Rudder Restaurant

The Muddy Rudder is a bit of a landmark in Yarmouth, Maine. The highly visible steak and seafood restaurant has been around for 35 years, but new owners wanted to signal a change with the introduction of a new logo. They wanted something more hip and youthful and would translate well to souvenir gear such as hats, mugs and shirts. We kept with a black and white color scheme because it’s bold and easy to reproduce.
